I meant to say something about this quite sometime back and it just slipped my mind but I believe a little cyber pat on the back is in order for Donna Fontenot and SEO-Scoop http://www.seo-scoop.com

I guess i first realized that Donna was a notch above most SEO bloggers when i realized the effort she put in to publish the post Hundreds of SEO Interviews. http://www.seo-scoop.com/2006/08/25/75-seo-interviews/ That list was not scraped or borrowed. That was an original idea that she was willing to put her own elbow grease to and offered up a valuable resource to the online marketing community and the web in general.

I've always believed she deserved a LOT more credit for that effort than she ever got and I feel remiss in not mentioning it sooner.

Ovet the past couple of years I've seen her do several tribute and compilation pieces and all of them original and none of them easy to do without putting in a lot of time and work. They are original and represent a true desire to contribute something of quality. I appreciate that and think that kind of effort should be applauded.

Her latest that caught my eye and again impressed me with how much work she puts into her blog was her post Search Bloggers http://www.seo-scoop.com/2008/06/17/search-bloggers/ where she has compiled a list of 58 bloggers who pretty much represent a who's who of search bloggers. Anyone wanting to get the "scoop" on the latest in the industry now has a one stop shop for finding the straight dope on the industry.

I think the web is a better place with Donna Fontenot and SEO-Scoop on it.
